Chicago's infamous liquor (Malort) that is either loved or hated. Flavored with wormwood and anise, it is a bitter digestif best served in shot form to get it over with as quickly as possible. A rite of passage for tourists that want to experience the bitterness of a Chicago winter in liquid form. Like the shot, this fragrance blends notes of anise, wormwood, and whiskey. Unlike the shot, this candle smells good; a sophisticated blend of an herbal cologne, combining the herbaceous notes of wormwood and anise seed with sweet whiskey and tart currant berries. Each candle is intentionally design and sustainably sourced, handmade from my home in Chicago(ish). Each candle has an illustrated label and comes in its own tube.
